► AcademicallyDistinctive The two-year Bible track includes coursesfrom Genesis to Revelation plus related studies in evangelism, discipleship, missions, prayer, apologetics, church history, music, and various other topics.Our pastor professors work diligently to provide the best Biblical training ona deeply personal level for each student. Many credits are accepted by majorcolleges. The beautiful 25 acre campus is locatedon the shores of Medicine Lake in the northwest Minneapolissuburb of Plymouth.Classes are offered each morning from eight to noon.
► VeryAffordable Tuition At AFLBS, we are committed to provide thebest value possible. The cost to attend is approximately $8,610 per year andincludes tuition, room, and board. Manyjobs are available in the area to make it possible for students to work afterclasses. Students may apply for scholarships to help defray the costs.
► Tradition of Music Excellence Our music at AFLBS has a long tradition of excellence and has always held a prominentplace. The music teams perform and minister to congregations, nursing homes, campus chapel, special events, and summer camps. The Concert Choir and Proclaim Choir have a national or international tour each spring. AFLBS also offers private instrumental and voice lessons, along with an Instrumental Ensemble. Our student-led Gospel Teams that areavailable for ministry throughout the year include: Women’s Trio, Men’s Quartet, Mixed Quartet, Women’s Ensemble, Mixed Ensemble, Worship Team, Nursing Home Team, Urban Ministry, and Puppet Team.
► IntercollegiateAthletics Our men's, women's, and co-ed sports developpersonal character and an attitude of excellence to develop leadership skills.We offer intramural sports in: volleyball, softball, soccer, and ultimatefrisbee. Men's and women's basketball teams participate in the NIAC conferenceand ACCA national tournaments. Our women's team won nationals in ‘04 and ‘06.Our coaches are committed to Jesus Christ and desire to see every team memberreach their full potential.
► Music & Service Ministry Teams Our teams are an important outreach to communities and congregations. AFLBS students have a passion for service and ministry opportunities that are abundant through various Gospel Teams. These teams offer music, evangelism, visitation, puppet ministry, and local congregation involvement. Throughout the year there is a dynamic missions emphasis that is an important transformation for each student.
