We are glad that you are interested in attending the Association Free Lutheran Bible School!
Below are all of the steps for completing the application process.
1. Application form - filled out completely and signed on the back page Please include two small photos of yourself and a $20 application fee
(waived if received before December 1st or $50 if received after August 1
of the year you plan to attend).
2. Health form - must be completed by a physician. All students are required to have/show proof of Health Insurance
(a copy of your insurance card is adequate).
3. Three Recommendation forms - these are to be filled out by the three
people indicated on the top of each form
(Pastor, Spiritual Mentor, and Teacher/Employer).
They must be sealed, signed, and returned by the reference to the AFLBS.
4. Transcripts - official transcripts are required from your high school and
any colleges you have attended. If you are in the middle of a semester
at the time of application, a transcript may be sent immediately and also
at the time of graduation/completion of the semester.
Your application will not be processed until all the necessary papers have been received. A review will then be made of your completed file and you will be informed of the results. Also available is an application for scholarships. This form must be filled out in its entirety and returned to our office in order for you to be eligible for any scholarships we offer. Filling out this application does not guarantee that you will receive scholarship help; applications are all considered together and awards are given mid-semester according to need. As you continue to make your plans for attending AFLBS, you will want to be aware of the financial arrangements. If we can be of help in your financial planning, feel free to contact us. Prepayment of fees can be made at any time, and you should have your financial planning complete by the time of registration. Approximate costs at AFLBS for one year are $8060.00*. A down payment of $2950 is due on registration day of the semester you are planning to attend*. This needs to be in the form of cash, check, money order or cashier’s check. We cannot accept credit or debit cards. We look forward to receiving the necessary application papers back from you.
