About 130 high school students from 10 states traveled to AFLBS for Campus Days March 28-30. It was great to see a good number of students come from as far as California and Washington to check out what life and classes are really like at the AFLBS campus! The Friday and Saturday evening services included testimonies and music from 8 of the gospel teams, and all were challenged with the messages from Pastor Jason Holt, AFLC Youth Ministries Director, speaking on “Knowing God’s Will” for your life. One of the texts he used was from Proverbs 3:5,6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Emphasis was given to the words “in” and “all”, and many illustrations were given in what it looks like in our life to “Trust in the Lord with all our heart.” A great time of fellowship and games with fellow high school class members followed the Friday services as students enjoyed snacks in the Heritage Hall cafeteria. Saturday morning gave students an opportunity to experience a couple classes with current junior and senior students. The weather was beautiful and sunny with temperatures about 50 degrees, so many students enjoyed some of the recreational opportunities on campus playing soccer, ultimate Frisbee, or volleyball in the afternoon or taking a walk around Medicine Lake!
