Mid-December Greeting from Pastor Rolf Print E-mail

Dear Friends of AFLBS,

We appreciate your interest and prayer support for the instruction of God’s Word and training of disciples of Jesus Christ that takes place here at AFLBS.  We praise the Lord for a good fall semester as we have seen students come to assurance of salvation and grow in their faith in Christ through His Word!  The Christmas concerts were well attended the weekend of December 7-9 and the various musical groups enjoyed proclaiming the message of Christ’s coming!  The students have just completed their semester finals and are excited to go home for Christmas!

We are excited for the January interterm classes beginning January 3rd through the 24th.  Classes offered will be: Introduction to Missions, Evangelism and Discipleship, Worship and Hymns of the Church, and Biblical Worldview.  The Missions Conference is set for January 6-10 with a number of missionaries scheduled to speak. (more info ) Please pray with us that the Spirit of God would work mightily in each heart and life and continue to call forth more laborers for the harvest in various vocations.  We invite you to join us for any and all of these special opportunities!

We pray you and your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas celebrating and sharing the “good news of great joy for all people, that unto you is born today in the city of David, the Savior who is Christ, the Lord.” Luke 2:10, 11.  We pray the new year would find us all faithful, fulfilling the call Christ has given each one of us in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) until He comes again!
