Thank You for your interest and support for the ministry of AFLBS. We praise the Lord for what He is dong in the hearts and lives here on campus as His life-transforming word is received. To God be the glory! Fall Campus Days was held October 17-19, giving nearly 150 prospective students a weekend full of opportunities to get connected at AFLBS and experience a sampling of Bible school life. They sat in on classes, attended chapel and devotions and met their future classmates. There were also opportunities for service in the neighborhood as some of them raked leaves for neighboring residents. Ultimate Frisbee, volleyball and soccer (on-campus) as well as an evening of swimming, basketball and volleyball at the Maple Grove Community Center provided lots of fun time for the students. Pastor Eric Westlake brought challenging messages from God’s Word on seeking Christ first and knowing and doing His will in the life He has given us. We look forward to many of these students attending AFLBS in the future! You are invited to join us for one of the 2008-2009 Deans’ Luncheons, taking place on November 6, December 4, January 29, February 26, March 26 and April 30. These days provide great opportunities for you to attend classes, worship in chapel, tour the campus, and have lunch with the deans and receive updates on the Bible School and Seminary. This is a great chance to experience what God is doing here on campus Please call our school office at (763) 544-9501 for more information or to make reservations. The Christmas season is coming soon! We want to welcome you to join us as we celebrate Christmas at AFLTS and AFLBS. Will you join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus? Please come for one of our three Christmas Candlelight Concerts in the Chapel on Saturday, December 13th at 7:00pm, or Sunday, December 14th at 2:00 or 4:30 pm. A light meal will follow the 4:30 concert. There is no charge (a free-will offering will be taken at all concerts).
As the Saturday evening performance has typically had the largest attendance, attending one of the Sunday performances will assure you of the best seating options. If you choose to come on Saturday, consider coming to our Scandinavian Food Sampler from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and enjoy some holiday treats before attending the evening concert. Please join or continue with us in prayer for the following:
