Driving Directions

AFLBS sits on the east shore of Medicine Lake, between I-494 and US-169, just north of MN-55 and south of Rockford Road (County 9), in east Plymouth. We are located just south of Robbinsdale Armstrong Senior High School in east Plymouth, just eleven miles west of downtown Minneapolis.

To access the school from north of the Twin Cities:

    * Follow 494 South to County Road 9 East Exit. Turn right on Zachary Lane. At 36th Avenue continue straight on Medicine Lake Blvd and down the hill to the lake. AFLBS  is approximately five blocks from 36th at 3110 E. Medicine Lake Blvd. Turn at the AFLC driveway and head east up the hill to Heritage Hall.

To access the school from south of the Twin Cities:

    * Take 169 North to Medicine Lake Road (or 26th Avenue) then turn left, to the West. Travel a quarter mile toward the lake and turn right on Medicine Ridge Road. Go right approximately one-half mile (five blocks) look for the driveway at 3110 E. Medicine Lake Blvd. Go right at the driveway and head east up the hill to Heritage Hall.

Notice

AFLBS friends and family mourn the loss of beloved teacher, mentor, seminary dean, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ, Dr. Francis Monseth, who died on Good Friday, March 29, of a heart attack. Together we lift up in prayer the Monseth Family.

AFLBS Dean, Pastor Joel Rolf, says, "This is a difficult time for all of us. We will all miss our beloved friend and Dean Dr. Monseth. He has taught and mentored us these past 42 years in his ministry at the Bible school and Seminary."

The funeral was held at the AFLC Campus Chapel on Saturday April 6th.
