Job Opportunities

With AFLBS at such a central location in suburban Minneapolis, job opportunities
a plenty lie at the reach of students. In the past, students of our Bible School
have found a wide range of employment opportunities within fifteen miles of the
campus. The steady morning class schedule at AFLBS gives students open afternoon
and evening availability to work each day and provides them a way to support themselves
during their time at AFLBS.

Many of our students find stable afternoon nanny jobs that work perfectly with
their schedule—and families around the twin cities have come to love the trustworthy,
reliable care that AFLBS students provide. Students can work in a variety of other
capacities, too: from personal care assistant with ACR, to retail associate at the
nearby mall, to hostess at a local restaurant, to warehouse worker for Office Depot.

Students with previous training in specific areas, such as cosmetology, lifeguarding,
or nursing, can often find employment that allows them to use their gifting and
pursue further experience in those fields.

In recent years, a number of companies have built a good connection with our
students as well, hiring large sums of them each year: Bill Hicks & Co., Ltd.,
Office Depot warehouse, Grainger Industrial Supplies, New Horizon Academy daycare,
Caribou Coffee, and Ruby Tuesday. For a list of employment opportunities and contact

AFLBS Dean, Pastor Joel Rolf, says, "This is a difficult time for all of us. We will all miss our beloved friend and Dean Dr. Monseth. He has taught and mentored us these past 42 years in his ministry at the Bible school and Seminary."
